dining big at the petit palace
We enjoy keeping up-to-date all of our Harissa Villas club members with the latest leisure trends on the white isle. Truth is that there is quite a story to tell behind the newest hidden gem on the island´s restaurant panorama.
All the way up overlooking the ancient town of Ibiza, on the highest and most exclusive point of Dalt Villa, stands the Palace Bardaji. Built just next to the Cathedral during the 18th century, this little palace is part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1999. Respectfully restored while preserving its original charm, the palace is now proudly hosting one of the newest gastronomic jewel on Ibiza island.
Just a few days ago Nassau Group officially announced its new opening by the hand of Edwin Vinke, founder and head chef of the two Michelin star awarded dutch restaurant De Kromme Watergang, who also participated in our last Harissa Chef’s Table edition in June 2022.

Discerning diners will discover Edwin’s unbridled passion for nature’s treasures and taste his ability to create the healthiest fine dining dishes based on the briny, earthy flavours and the rich bounty of the Mediterranean sea. According to Edwin, one must cook with the heart, which he certainly does at new restaurant 1742.
Everything served on the table depends heavily on Ibiza’s organic produce, local fishermen, farmers and herb growers. Edwin’s kitchen is conscient, natural and free from preservatives. The executive Michelin star chef will be personally present at 1742Ibiza during the whole season, ready welcome guests for an amazing gastronomic journey paired with world’s most exclusive selection of wines and champagnes.

THE PRIVATE ROOM
‘What happens in 1742 stays in 1742’
Mind-blowing menu and high-end dining at the most surreal location, two multisensorial designed salons, skyline rooftop terrace with first roll sea views over Ibiza’s Harbour and the bohemian charm of its old town, and still this is not all…
1742 Ibiza features the sexiest secret dining room for one-of-a-kind celebrations ´en prive´. The space is located on the upper level of the Palace, so it reduces touchpoints and interaction with staff and other guests, in addition to bespoke service for up to 25 dinner invitees and quite many private party-makers. The venue surprises with genteel instincts outfitted in a warm lightning atmosphere embedded in its tall ancient ceilings mixing the contemporary and the innovation all in perfect tune with the most modern art pieces. If you are looking for something really unique, be among the first to book a table at this fabulous place.
